These terms explain eligibility, coverage, exclusions, and remedies for each guarantee.

Backed by documented installation records (including photo evidence and specified checks), Zyron provides an additional 10-year workmanship protection for the waterproofing work we carry out within the agreed scope.
This protection is designed to give builders, certifiers, and owners confidence that the waterproofing workmanship has been completed using a controlled method and can be supported with documentation.
Important Notice
This 10-year workmanship protection is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law and any applicable NSW statutory warranties. It does not exclude, restrict, or modify those rights.Terms & Conditions
1) Coverage — Zyron workmanship only
This protection covers defects proven to have been directly caused by Zyron’s workmanship in applying the waterproofing system, and only within the specific areas Zyron prepared and waterproofed under the agreed scope (“Covered Area”).2) Products and manufacturer warranties
Products used (membranes, primers, sealants and related materials) may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties. Zyron’s 10-year protection is workmanship-only. If a product defect is suspected, Zyron may assist with reasonable information for a manufacturer claim, subject to inspection and access.3) Conditions of coverage — Zyron controlled method
Coverage applies only where the system has been installed in accordance with Zyron’s documented method for that project, including (where specified):substrate preparation
moisture checks / inspections
junction reinforcement / bandaging
methodical membrane application
These steps are documented in the Digital Handover Pack.
4) Exclusions — damage, alterations, third parties, or external causes
This protection does not apply where issues are caused by factors outside Zyron’s workmanship, including (without limitation):any damage, penetration, alteration, trafficking, or contamination of the membrane after Zyron completes waterproofing
screed installed before Zyron approval / “Screed Start” confirmation (where this control is part of the project process)
penetrations added after waterproofing
plumbing leaks not caused by Zyron workmanship
tile or screed failures, movement, cracking, de-bonding, or installation faults
grout, silicone, shower screen, or seal maintenance failures
structural movement, slab/substrate cracking, building movement, or design issues (including falls/drainage/ponding) outside Zyron’s control
impact damage, demolition, misuse, neglect, or abnormal use
5) Normal use and maintenance
Coverage applies to normal residential or commercial use. It excludes misuse, neglect, harsh/incorrect cleaning practices, and failure to maintain adjacent seals and fittings that can contribute to water ingress risk.6) Remedy limitation — waterproofing rectification only
If a valid workmanship defect is confirmed, Zyron will rectify the affected waterproofing area within the Covered Area.To the extent permitted by law, this protection does not cover:
removal and replacement of tiles
removal and replacement of screed
fixtures, cabinetry, finishes, or fit-off items
secondary or consequential damage (mould, rot, water staining, accommodation, loss of rent, etc.) except where required by law.
7) Prompt notification and mitigation
Any signs of moisture or suspected issues must be reported to Zyron promptly. You must take reasonable steps to minimise further damage. Unreasonable delay, or failure to mitigate,may affect coverage under this additional protection for this additional protection.8) Transferability
This additional workmanship protection is issued to the original contracting party unless agreed otherwise in writing. This does not limit any non-excludable rights that may apply to subsequent owners under statute.9) Payment condition
This additional 10-year workmanship protection applies only once all amounts due under the contract have been paid in full. This clause applies to this additional protection only and does not limit statutory rights.10) Inspection and access
Zyron must be given reasonable access to inspect and determine cause before any invasive investigation or rectification is undertaken, unless urgent measures are required to prevent immediate damage or safety risk.
Repairs or alterations by others without Zyron’s prior written approval may void this additional protection.Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to have services provided with due care and skill, and to remedies where a failure occurs. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the ACL. -
When Zyron commences waterproofing works, we provide a confirmed completion window for the nominated waterproofing stage at the start of the job. If the agreed stage is not completed within that window due solely to Zyron delay, a 20% credit will apply in accordance with the terms below.The guarantee does not require Zyron to compromise curing times or manufacturer compliance.
Terms & Conditions
Applies to: Waterproofing systems installed by Zyron Waterproofing within the agreed scope.
Must be agreed before commencement: The guarantee must be requested and agreed in writing prior to starting. If not agreed before commencement, standard scheduling applies and no credit is offered.Credit is applied to the final invoice only and is not redeemable for cash.
Start of timeframe: The agreed completion window starts when Zyron has uninterrupted access and the area is genuinely ready (clean, dry, safe access, correct sequencing, and a substrate suitable for primer and membrane application).
Definition of “Stage Completion”Waterproofing stage completion means the nominated waterproofing works have been applied to the documented scope and cured in accordance with manufacturer guidance for the site conditions, with Zyron’s written confirmation that the area is ready for the next trade or covering layer.
Curing conditions assumption: The guarantee assumes normal curing conditions. Excess humidity, low temperatures, enclosed rooms, lack of ventilation, moisture, or other environmental factors that materially extend cure time exclude the guarantee.
Exclusions (outside Zyron control): The guarantee does not apply where delays are caused by other trades, restricted access, incomplete/incorrect preparation, added penetrations, design changes, variations, site shutdowns, safety issues, or conditions outside Zyron’s control.
Trigger threshold: The credit applies only if Zyron is more than 1 business day late beyond the agreed completion window due solely to Zyron delay.
Credit (the remedy): If the trigger is met, Zyron will apply a 20% credit to the waterproofing labour component, capped at $20,000 for that job.
Project-specific only: The credit applies only to the specific job/area where the guarantee was agreed and does not transfer to other areas, future bookings, or separate projects.

Once Zyron Waterproofing has completed a Pre-Install Verification (or where otherwise confirmed in writing) and the scope of works has been agreed, the quoted price will remain fixed for the defined waterproofing works. Price adjustments will only apply where site conditions differ from those verified, additional works are requested, or instructions are changed by the client or builder.
Where quotations are provided from architectural drawings only, pricing remains provisional until an on-site verification is completed prior to commencement.
Terms & Conditions
1) Scope confirmation
This guarantee applies once the scope of works has been confirmed in writing within an approved Zyron quotation, following either a completed Pre-Install Verification or other agreed verification method. Where pricing is issued from architectural drawings only, final scope and pricing remain subject to on-site confirmation prior to commencement.
2) Fixed scope basis
Following written scope confirmation, the quoted price remains fixed for the defined works, provided site conditions, access, and client/builder instructions remain consistent with those verified or reasonably assumed at the time of confirmation.
3) Changes to site conditions
This guarantee does not apply where site conditions differ from those observed or verified at the time of scope confirmation, including (without limitation) substrate changes, unforeseen moisture, additional penetrations, incomplete preparation, structural movement, or interference or damage by other trades.
4) Client or builder variations
Any additional works requested, changes to scope, design modifications, sequencing changes, or altered instructions issued after scope confirmation may result in a written variation, revised quotation, or additional charges.
5) Access & sequencing
This guarantee assumes uninterrupted access and correct trade sequencing consistent with the verified scope. Delays, restricted access, or sequencing changes may require scope reassessment and may impact fixed pricing.
6) Quote validity & verification timeframe
The quotation remains open for acceptance for a period of 90 days from the date of issue. Pre-Install Verification and scope confirmation remain valid for 14 days. If works are delayed beyond this period, or site conditions change, re-verification may be required.
7) Reference documents
The approved quotation, accepted scope confirmation, and any Pre-Install Verification records form the reference documents for determining inclusions and scope under this guarantee.
8) Limit of guarantee
This guarantee applies only to pricing certainty within the verified scope and does not extend to workmanship performance, certification outcomes, statutory approvals, or works by other trades.
